Foundation pump works by principle of vacuum. As the pumps of new cream or foundation products are empty, it is common that they may not “grab” the product immediately. Everything should work correctly once the pump is attached tightly to the bottle and there is no air trapped inside. Usually, shaking the bottle well helps. If it still does not work, we recommend placing the bottle upside down overnight. Then press the pump multiple times until all the air is released and the cream starts flowing through the pump. The foundation should eventually reach the pump, and everything should work as expected.
